My adventure at London

Our sloop, the Ranger, was miles off Tortuga. I was inside the tavern drinking rum along with my crew when i went outside to look at the stars and that’s when i saw it: A royal navy ship, approaching! I warned my swashbuckling crew of what was coming and they quickly evacuated. While the citizens of Tortuga were hiding in their homes we went into the longboats to go back to our ship and quickly get out of there. But it was too late, the navy ship had already docked and royal navy soldiers were invading tortuga, arresting pirates left and right! It wasn’t long before they arrested us too. They took us, tied the Ranger to their ship, and left, having arrested dozens of pirates. While we were sailing towards England, I managed to use my beak to cut the ropes that they had tied us with. We took our swords, pistols, etc and freed the other pirates as well. Oh yeah, this might be a good time to introduce myself. I am Lelos the canary. Captain Lelos the canary. So anyways. It was then that t...

The Canary Cook

I have recently been asked to write about my adventure at Treasure Island by Dr Livesey. The only thing I will keep secret is the location of the treasure, for the entirety of it has not been collected yet by authorities. I hope my account will be as accurate as possible, for my memory is not that good. I was born on June 9 of 1651. Ever since I was a young boy I can remember my father telling me “watch out for the pirates, son. They are cruel, malicious and they won’t hesitate to cut your throat!” It scared me. What my father told me, it freaked me out. My mother would then calm me down. “Those pirates your father is telling you about, do not worry. They will not find us, my boy.” This calmed me down a little. I would then proceed to drink some milk and then go lie down in my bed and sleep until the next morning. After I lost my father, it was difficult for me. All the work had to be done by me and my mother. This may also be a good time to introduce myself. I am Jim Hawkins and i am...

My adventure at Golden Island

I was inside the bar, singing with the rest of my cutthroat crew: -”15 men on a dead man’s chest. Yo-ho-ho and a bottle of rum! Drink and the devil had done for the rest! Yo-ho-ho and a bottle of rum!” Suddenly a mysterious figure entered the bar. He gave one of the men in there the black spot. A bad thing for any pirate to receive! The figure then mysteriously disappeared. The man who had received the spot was scared and walked up to me. -”Here, take this! Before the cat finds me!” He gave me a treasure map leading to the mysterious Golden Island. The man then went into hiding and completely disappeared. And so I knew my next mission: To find the treasure of the golden island. However me and my crew lacked something essential: a ship! And so we set out to commandeer a small sloop called the Ranger, which originally belonged to the pirate Calico Jack and was now in the ownership of the royal navy. We went to the governor, to nicely ask for it. In fact we even offered him a substantial ...
