Thunderbolt

1967, it was a cold night. Comrade Monke turned around and took out his gun. “Prepare to die, Monke!” the rival agents said. A gunfight broke out with Monke killing the rival agents easily and fast, striking like a thunderbolt. Monke hid his gun again and left the ship, having successfully placed the bomb and then detonating it, blowing up the CIA American-backed drug operation that had its headquarters in a ship just off the coast in Cuba.

Monke traveled back to the USSR and was awarded a medal for successfully pulling the mission off. He went back to his dacha and slept. The next morning he was woken up by a phone call and was told to immediately come to the secret service headquarters. Monke could hear the head of the service being worried, so he acted fast and drove to the headquarters. When he entered, he was welcomed by Miss Anastasia and was served some vodka.

The head of the secret service entered the room and informed him about his new mission. A person known as the Black Bat had been murdering Russian agents and thwarting soviet spy operations in the western states. “And you want me to go, “take care” of him, I assume?” Monke asked, “Exactly!” responded the head of the secret service, “Last time Black Bat was spotted in Britain. Good luck, agent 0P, you’ll need it.” Monke booked a flight to Britain and arrived there the next day.

He immediately began investigating, looking for clues to Black Bat’s location. After staying in Britain for about a week without finding any clues, he suddenly read in the newspapers that another body of a Russian agent murdered by the vigilante known as “Black Bat” had been found in London. Monke went to the scene of the crime and found the Russian agent marked with a bat-shaped scar and shot by twin .45s. Monke managed to take the bullets before the police officers and sent it to the USSR for analysis.

After another week, the result came to Monke’s mail. The guns belonged to a lawyer known as Tony Quinn, who purchased the guns a month before the Black Bat vigilante started appearing. Monke went to Quinn’s office but he didn’t find him there, only his secretary was there. Monke left the office. It was night, and suddenly he was attacked from behind and knocked unconscious.

He later woke up inside a dark storage room, with water on the floor and damaged, broken walls. Suddenly, a mysterious figure entered the room. It was Black Bat. “I know who you are, you’re this soviet agent, Comrade Monke. I’m gonna hurt you really really bad.” Monke suddenly broke the rope he was tied with using his super strength but realized he had no weapon, while Quinn was armed with two guns.

Black Bat started shooting but Monke dodged the bullets. Suddenly Monke threw the chair on Black Bat but he dodged, dropping, however, one of his guns. Monke jumped and grabbed the gun. Now it was a fair fight, as they were both armed. Black Bat was scared now, and he shot open the door and ran away. Monke went after him. The Black Bat climbed onto a rooftop and Monke did the same. A full chase now ensued.

Suddenly Black Bat turned around and tried to shoot Monke. Monke dodged but Black Bat aimed his gun at Monke and a gunshot was heard. However, it wasn't from Black Bat’s gun but from Monke’s. Monke had done it, he had killed the Black Bat, striking like a thunderbolt. “That’s how we do it in mother Russia!” Monke said before Tony Quinn fell dead. Monke returned to the USSR where he was awarded a medal and went back to his dacha, awaiting his next mission.

The end of “Black Bat”, but Comrade Monke will return!
